hello....
everyone feel tired??after this super long day we hav today..
woa..really very long orh...morning normal classes from 7.30am to 12pm..
then sec 4 n 5s chinese hav chinese test(every friday)til around 1.30pm+..then speech day rehearsal..
prize winners needa report at 2.15pm..then it only start at 3.35pm..til one round n end about 4 something before the performance starts..before that when we r waiting for prize giving rehearsal still need to prepare everyone in de bandroom and stuff in the hall..
when performance really starts,we played through jubilant once without conductor n scores again..mdm aini was sitting at the middle column n started to walk towards us where ms zai sat n discussed alittle of us..she looked quite happy then...at least,we played through smoothly n packed up n moved bac to the bandroom.. qian ying our BM then called everyone to go for sectionals and only percussionists are allow to b in the bandroom practising while ms loh is at the other side teaching our sec 1 playing 'hey jude'..they sound so nice n cute..haha..yeah sec 1s jia you!!u all r doin well!!!..however before we can start any sectionals,we were called bac to the hall for the finale..doing 3 to 4 rounds..then we helped mr effendy for the chairs in the hall and moved down for dinner provided by the skool~!!!thank u mr kamil and ms zaihana~!!!!!thx u veri much..!! we enjoyed our dinner!!!..so we started our dinner at 5.50pm n ended 6.20pm...had some area cleaning n went up for self pract..thus i went to find the teachers to pass them their dinner..however i cant find mr kamil..haizz...then fiona n i went bac to de bandroom n she told mi some history of our oboe..wao..they are so good!!as when i was is in my sec1,we went for SYF..but by then she was already playing the oboe..however the truth is fiona n cheryl learn oboe for only 3 months before entering syf..wao~!!!!impressed!!!!they pick up veri fast~!!!then shortly around 6.40pm mr lim came...n i fergt to do tuning...really sorry guys...becuz of my mistake...lead to today's terrible intonation...sorry sorry...
by the way...i hav taken down some points n observation of today's pract..:
sunrise
starting 1. 1st note,euphonium n tuba must be very in tune
2.trombone n bass clarinet dont come in with a harsh sound or hard tongue
3. come in together n with same articulation
4.horn n trombone,bass clar hav the same dynamic of piano..thus muz match...
now horn n trombone louder than bass clar..not match..
5.horn n trombone muz play together in beautiful phrase
6.trumpet the note D not in tune
no.5-6 7.tenor hav a melody which has a too short note in it
no.16 8.trumpet F natural

1.trumpets-6 bars before 127 muz susain the last note..is 2 n half count!!not 2..
tuning:10mins (listening exercise)
at least a forte(true tone of instrument)
442- high or low pitch
play and adjust all times
